DeftonesPrivate Music

Deftones have always excelled at navigating the tension between jagged aggression and an almost weightless, ethereal drift. On this collection, the focus leans into those hazier, more intimate moments where Chino Moreno’s breathy delivery floats over thick, textured guitar work. It is a specific side of their sound that feels less like a frontal assault and more like a slow, rhythmic pull. The way the melodic hooks emerge from the distortion feels incredibly personal, capturing the band in a subdued yet heavy headspace.
